Pillar Classic

This class makes the most of everything the reformer has to offer. Providing a creative class that challenges you both physically and mentally to ensure your muscles burn, your heart rate raises and you leave wondering where the past 50 minutes have gone!

Pre-Natal

Exercise is strongly encouraged throughout pregnancy, however from 16 weeks gestation the guidelines recommend women refrain from certain exercise.

Our pre-natal classes are designed around these guidelines and incorporate specific exercises to assist with some of the common aches and pains associated with pregnancy.

As everyone’s pregnancy is unique, please call or email before enrolling in a pre-natal class to ensure our classes are suitable and safe for you.

Mums + Bubs

A degree of deconditioning and decreased endurance is a normal process that occurs with pregnancy. We have designed this class specifically for women wanting to return to exercise post birth in a safe and nurturing way.

This class is suitable for women who are 6 weeks + post birth, or have been cleared by their doctor to exercise post cesarean section. Having a diverse support network post birth is vital for the mother and baby’s well-being, and this class provides the perfect opportunity to meet other young mothers navigating the parenting journey.

Babies are welcome to accompany you to this class provided they are not yet crawling, or are happy to remain in a pram for the duration of the class.

Stretch + strengthen

Like all Pilates classes, S+S is gentle on the joints and suitable for people recovery from an injury or who are deconditioned, those who are looking for something to compliment more vigorous exercise as well as those bodies that are feeling the effects of age. 

Male moves

Pilates is suitable for absolutely everybody, and that includes those with a Y chromosome.  However we recognise that most Pilates classes are dominated by women, so to address this we have dedicated class for men!

Like all classes, this class will focus on strengthening the entire body, improving mobility and injury prevention and we have no doubt you’ll walk out of each session feeling muscles you didn’t know existed an hour prior!

Private introductory class

1:1 introductory classes are available upon request with Pillar’s founder and chiropractor, Dr Amy Lauren.

The aim of this session is to ensure you are confident and comfortable moving your body and navigating the reformer as well as determining which classes are most suitable for your body and your goals.
